What the application stores

In live mode, Supabase handles account authentication. The application stores public profile details, posts and replies, social relationships, prompt bookmarks and collections, moderation reports, block lists, service inquiries, and optional encrypted AI connection keys. Authentication cookies keep you signed in.

Who can see what

Published editorial content, profile names and bios, and community posts are public. Likes and follows are public social relationships. Bookmarks collections, AI connections, and block lists are private to your account. Moderation reports are visible to their author and authorized moderators. Demo requests are visible to the requester and authorized administrators.

Important limits

Blocking filters signed-in interactions; it does not make previously public posts private. A signed-out visitor may still see public content. Authorized moderators and administrators can review public posts even when blocked, so blocking cannot prevent moderation. Avoid posting private information. No analytics trackers, advertising SDKs, or file uploads are enabled in this build.

Community activity measurement

For signed-in members, we record one visit per Tanzania calendar day and the first section visited that day. Administrators see aggregate daily activity and returning-member counts. We do not collect search queries, IP addresses, prompt text, or anonymous browsing for this report. We respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. You can pause future collection on this browser below. Older activity is removed on your next recorded visit after 90 days; deleting an account removes its associated records.

Optional AI suggestions

You can choose an AI provider and model and save your own API key in your private account settings. Keys are encrypted before storage and are not shown again after saving. You can replace or remove your key at any time. When you choose AI suggestions, your search goal and selected category are sent to your selected provider using your account. If you choose OpenRouter or Vercel AI Gateway, their selected model provider also processes the request. Loading models contacts the provider’s catalogue; testing a connection sends a sample request before the key and model are saved. Provider charges and data handling terms apply. Ordinary search does not need an AI connection. Prompt personalisation fields stay in the open browser tab and are not sent to AI by this feature.

Before this site launches

The operator must complete a production privacy notice with its legal identity, contact details, retention periods, deletion/request process, and applicable service providers. This implementation summary is not a completed legal privacy policy.
