Make your contribution useful
Explain the task, what you tried and what happened. Separate your own experience from a claim you have not checked.
THE WAY WE BUILD TOGETHER
A community grows when people feel welcome to ask, contribute and learn. These guidelines help us keep that space useful for everyone.
Share what helps someone take a meaningful next step.
SIX SHARED EXPECTATIONS
Explain the task, what you tried and what happened. Separate your own experience from a claim you have not checked.
Challenge ideas with care. Harassment, hateful content, threats and impersonation have no place here. Beginners should feel comfortable asking questions.
Keep passwords, API keys, private conversations and confidential customer or business information out of posts, screenshots and prompts.
Link to your sources and explain what you learned in your own words. Only share content you have permission to use.
Disclose your connection to a product, service or affiliate link. Explain why it is useful instead of repeating advertisements or making unsupported income claims.
Report harmful or misleading content rather than amplifying it. Explain the concern so moderators have useful context.
BEFORE YOU POST
You don’t need a perfect result. An honest explanation of what you tried is a useful contribution.
Does this help someone understand or try something?
Have I explained the context and credited my sources?
Have I removed private details and disclosed any promotion?
Am I clear about what is tested, AI-assisted or uncertain?
WHEN SOMETHING NEEDS ATTENTION
Sign in, open the post’s action menu and choose “Report post”. Describe the specific concern. Reports are visible to their author and authorized moderators.
Blocking filters signed-in interactions. It does not make public posts private: signed-out visitors and authorized moderators may still see them. Avoid sharing information you need to keep private.
Yes, when you have permission to share the material. Explain how AI helped, check the output and add your own context. Do not present invented facts, results or sources as verified information.
MAKE IT PRACTICAL
A question, an experiment, a lesson learned. There’s room to start small.
