ChatGPT’s next step: answers you can interact with
OpenAI is bringing GPT-6 and interactive responses to more ChatGPT users. Here’s what that changes for everyday work.
What happened
OpenAI announced a wider rollout of GPT-6 in ChatGPT on 7 October, alongside Intelligent UI. Responses can combine text with charts, forms, buttons and other interactive elements, depending on the question.
The company said paid-tier rollout began that day, with Free and Go following from 8 October. Enterprise access depends on administrator settings. This announcement concerns ChatGPT’s Chat experience; it does not change the models used in Work or Codex.
Our take
For people learning a concept or comparing options, being able to change an input could be more useful than reading another long explanation. A polished interface still needs accurate underlying information.
Try this
Ask for an interactive comparison of three ways to organise a weekly content calendar. Specify the audience, available time and desired outcome, then check whether changing those inputs produces sensible results.

Would this workflow save you time?
Adjust the example to reflect your work. This is an estimate using your inputs, not a product benchmark.
See the calculation
Review time counts too. Negative results mean the example takes longer overall.
